Lesson 2
Lesson 1 gave you the map of self-esteem—what it is, how it forms, and why negative self-beliefs resist change. But understanding low self-esteem intellectually is not the same as being able to work with it in real time. To do that, you need a foundational set of psychological skills that most people have never been taught: the ability to notice your own patterns of self-evaluation as they happen, to understand what your emotions are actually telling you, and to regulate your internal state without suppression or avoidance.
The Psychological Foundations: Basics course is where that training begins. It covers eight essential lessons—from the case for why healing matters, to how emotions function as information, to the mechanics of emotional regulation. These are not abstract concepts. They are the operating system that every practical self-esteem intervention in this course depends on. Without the capacity to observe your own inner critic with clarity and honesty, any technique you apply will be filtered through the very patterns that maintain your low self-worth.
This course teaches you how to build a real relationship with your own inner world—the foundation from which all self-esteem healing becomes possible. Complete the Basics course, then return here for Lesson 3, where you will apply everything you've learned directly to your self-esteem.
Required Course
8 lessons · Build emotional awareness, understand the subconscious, and learn to read your emotions as information.
Once you've completed the Basics course, you'll have the emotional awareness and self-observation skills needed to begin applying those principles directly to self-esteem. In Lesson 3, you'll learn to identify your inner critic, challenge automatic negative self-evaluations, and build stabilizing practices that interrupt the cycle of self-doubt.
