Learn to compartmentalize in a healthy way
Learn to hold off on processing issues until an appropriate time
Things to Consider
THIS MEDITATION IS NOT TO BE USED TO AVOID ISSUES INDEFINITELY. Your container will break eventually and the longer you hold things in there, the worse it will be for you when it breaks.
The container can be anything, literally anything in the world that can hold something.
What you put in the container can also be anything. Solid, liquid, gas, living, inert, small, big, anything!
The more real you can make this exercise by engaging your senses and being specific, the better it will work.
Be creative! You are using your imagination here so run wild with it. Feel free to use James Bond movie vaults or movies with elaborate heists despite unreal defenses for inspiration.

1Find a place where you are comfortable and will not be easily distracted.
2Begin the meditation by imagining a container in your head. Notice as much detail as possible about the container.
3Fortify the container if necessary. Add whatever you need in order for this container to feel safe to you. This could also include putting the container in a special or fortified room.
4Visualize the stressor in whatever form you want it to take. Imagine yourself putting the stressor into the container. Continue with as many stressors as you want.
5Lock the container. If you aren't 100% sure that this container will hold what you need it to without it getting out before you can get back to it, repeat step 3.
6Come back to process the things you've locked away at a safe time.
