    Life Wheel Assessment

The Life Wheel (also called the Wheel of Life) is a powerful self-assessment tool that gives you a visual snapshot of how balanced and fulfilled you feel across different areas of life. By rating each domain, you quickly see where you're thriving and where you need attention.

This exercise is used by coaches, therapists, and in personal development because it cuts through vague dissatisfaction. Instead of feeling "something's off," you can pinpoint exactly which areas need work.

    The 8 Life Domains

Career/Work — Fulfillment, growth, and meaning in your work

Finances — Security, management, and relationship with money

Health — Physical wellness, energy, and self-care

Relationships — Quality of connections with family and friends

Romance/Partner — Intimacy, connection, and partnership

Personal Growth — Learning, self-improvement, and development

Fun/Recreation — Play, hobbies, and enjoyment

Physical Environment — Your home, workspace, and surroundings

    How to Complete

Step 1: Draw a circle divided into 8 sections (or use a template)

Step 2: Label each section with a life domain

Step 3: Rate your satisfaction in each area from 1-10

    •1 = completely dissatisfied
    •10 = fully satisfied

Step 4: Color in each section to that level

Step 5: Look at the shape—where are the gaps?

    Questions to reflect on:

    •Which area scored lowest? Why?
•Which high-scoring area could you leverage to help lower ones?
•What would a "10" look like in your lowest area?
•Which area, if improved, would most impact overall happiness?
•Are any low scores connected to each other?

    Using your results:

•Don't try to fix everything at once—pick 1-2 areas
•Set specific goals for your focus areas
    •Reassess monthly to track progress
    •Consider what's blocking each low-scoring area
•Remember: balance doesn't mean all 10s—it means alignment with your values
