    Weekly Review

The Weekly Review is a cornerstone habit for intentional living. By regularly pausing to reflect on what happened, what you learned, and what comes next, you avoid drifting through life on autopilot.

This practice, popularized by productivity systems like GTD, is equally valuable for emotional well-being and personal growth. It creates a rhythm of reflection that compounds over time.

    The Review Framework

    Part 1: Look Back

•What were my wins this week? (big and small)
    •What didn't go as planned?
    •What did I learn?
    •What am I grateful for?

    Part 2: Look Inward

    •How am I feeling overall?
    •What drained my energy?
    •What gave me energy?
•Is anything unresolved or weighing on me?

    Part 3: Look Forward

•What are my top 3 priorities next week?
•What do I want to feel?
•What might get in my way?
    •What support do I need?

    Tips for Success

Schedule it: Same time each week (Sunday evening or Friday afternoon work well)

Protect it: Treat it as a non-negotiable appointment

Keep it simple: Don't overcomplicate—consistency beats perfection

Be honest: The review is for you, not for performance

Adjust: Modify the questions to fit your life and season

    Why weekly reviews work:

•Creates space between doing and being
•Prevents small issues from becoming big ones
    •Builds self-awareness over time
    •Celebrates progress you'd otherwise forget
•Keeps you aligned with what matters

    Common review add-ons:

•Review calendar and commitments for next week
•Process notes and inputs (inbox, notes, ideas)
    •Update goals and projects
•Reach out to someone you've been meaning to contact
    •Clear physical and digital clutter
